The NSW Government has appointed 10 business and Government leaders to the NSW Innovation Council. The Council will be chaired by Steven Harker (Chair) - Managing Director and CEO, Morgan Stanley Australia. The Innovation Council was one of the initiatives Premier Morris Iemma announced when he released the NSW Government's Statement on Innovation. The Council will help implement one of the key priorities of the NSW State Plan - to increase investment and build stronger rural and regional economies. | ||

Cluster Report-Western Sydney IT Cluster
The Western Sydney IT Cluster (www.wsitc.com.au) delivered an exceptional final Hot Topic Forum on 20 November - "collaboration and convergence and emerging new opportunities" with guest speakers Prof Roy Green, Dean, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Clyde Campbell, CEO of Machinery Automation & Robotics (MAR), and Alex Krum-Heller, Project Leader with CSIRO's Braccetto project. This speaker program presented a review of the success factors in collaboration from Prof Green and case studies of project collaborations in action with CSIRO and MAR. | ||
